Our Story
The Food Lab began in 2020, a few weeks before the world came to a halt. With humble roots as a prep kitchen for iconic restaurant Charley Noble,
we quickly adapted to the changing times, offering high-quality meal kits
and drop-off meals that garnered us a loyal following.
As we continued to grow, we expanded our services to include corporate catering: providing lunches, platters, and delivered hot meals to businesses
all around Wellington. Our commitment to culinary excellence and exceptional service led us to specialise in large-scale events, a place where we can truly showcase our passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
In 2023, we were honoured to be named the Preferred Caterer for
Venues Wellington, giving us the opportunity to combine our expertise
with stunning backdrops to create extraordinary events.
Today, we remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of hospitality and celebrating the incredible produce and producers of our region.
